Wheels

Sorry for the delay. This is Africa you know, and Africa has its own time.

Unfortunately I have not been able to find out much about your car. I phoned a friend who is a second hand car dealer for a price on a second hand Citroen C2 VTR (2003), but they were introduced into the SA market only last year so there is no market as such.
He did warn me, however, of the pitfalls of bringing a car out here and the red tape involved.

Licensing, road worthiness etc is not a problem provided you have the import clearance etc. and that is where the problems can arise. They could impound your car for months if there is a technical hitch or suchlike.
Look at Auto Trader for prices in SA and at Money Web for information on car depreciation in SA (especially Citroen).
My advice is to see what you can for your Citroen in the UK and buy a good second hand car out here - especially at the current exchange rate.
Also you might want to consider if you want to have the same vehicle in SA as in the UK - perhaps a decent SUV might be a better bet for you out here (especially if you are going to travel rather than run around a big city).
