First-time applicants for a television licence must pay the full annual fee of R225. Payment options: Banks, the Post Office, Retailers, Easypay points, direct debit and SABC Head Office and branches.
Retailers: Checkers, Checkers Hyper Stores, Shoprite Money Market Kiosk, Hi-Fi Corporation, Makro & Game.
Easy pay points: Pick ‘n Pay Supermarkets, Hypermarkets and Family Stores nationwide, Foodworld, Saveworld and Hypersavers (in the Western Cape).

Internet Cafes
These have popped up all over the place but are not as cheap as UK's Easy Jet internet for a £1 per hour. You can end up paying R30 per hour if you are not careful. It is best to buy a contract with a cafe, something like R120 buys you 6 hours.

PostNet charges R7 for 30 mins.
catwalk TV charges R10 per hour. Great shop near Green Market Square in Cape Town.
Post Office
It costs R234 Rand to own your own post box through the Post Office.
